A Cumberland County man is recovering after being stabbed over the weekend. Deputies were called to the emergency room of Cumberland Medical Center where 55-year-old Gary A. Phillips told them 55-year-old Susan Denise Stokes of Crossville stabbed him in the chest with a steak knife at a home on Apache Trail in Lake Tansi. A warrant was taken out on Stokes for aggravated domestic assault.
