TWO DRIVERS ESCAPE INJURIES IN VEHICLE ACCIDENTS ON I-40 IN CUMBERLAND CO.

Two drivers escaped injuries in separate vehicle accidents on I-40 in Cumberland County.

Troopers say a Subaru Outback driven by 19-year-old Tyler Brackins of Sevierville was traveling at the 313 mile marker Friday when he fell asleep and rear ended a tractor trailer.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a crash at the 311 mile marker yesterday when a 2012 Ford Mustang operated by 44-year-old Delonda Garmon of Little Rock, Arkansas lost control in adverse weather conditions and slid into the median striking a tree.

Both drivers were restrained at the time of their accidents.
