Cumberland County deputies pulled over a vehicle Saturday night on Linder Loop for reportedly speeding. Officers say a check of the driver’s license of 32-year-old William Thomas Whittaker of Crossville revealed a suspended status. When the deputy asked Whittaker to empty his pockets, he allegedly pulled out of his jacket pocket a pill container with 8 pills inside and a clear plastic bag containing meth. Whittaker was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and simple possession of drugs.
