Cumberland County deputies responded this week to Beechwood Drive in Fairfield Glade for a suspicious driver reportedly operating the vehicle in a reckless manner. Officers intercepted 22-year-old Daniel Eugene Sherrill who allegedly sped off reaching speeds of 70 miles per hour in an attempt to get away. Sherrill stopped on Admiral Circle. Sherrill was arrested for reckless driving and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license.
