Cumberland County deputies were called to a residence on Tabor Loop in reference to a stolen vehicle. The complainant told officers 36-year-old Daniel Timothy Davis of Crossville took her vehicle without permission. A check of the driver’s license of Davis came back suspended. Davis returned to the residence later with the vehicle. Officers tried to remove him from the car which Davis allegedly resisted. A deputy deployed a taser and was able to get Davis into custody. He was charged with theft of property and resisting arrest.
