Cumberland County deputies responded to two homes burglarized on the 14,000 block of Highway 127 North last Friday. The two residences were four blocks apart. In the first case, an outbuilding appeared to have been entered into and a side door to the home had pry marks on the door. The second case also involved pry marks noticed on a door. A basement door was found partially opened. Officers found a tool that matched the pry marks on both residences. The tool was not known to be at the residences prior to the burglaries. No suspects were named in either incident.
