The U.S. Geological Survey says two more earthquakes took place in the past 24 hours along with the 2.1 magnitude quake in northeast Rhea County yesterday. A 2.3 magnitude happened last night just before 9 p.m. near Rockwood and was nearly 14 miles deep. The second, a 1.5 magnitude, was recorded just before sunrise this morning near Sweetwater. No initial reports of damage noted in the three quakes.
