Cumberland Medical Center will receive a $136,000 grant from the state. It is part of $10 million dollars to support hospitals facing unusual and financial pressures because of the ongoing response to the coronavirus. Governor Bill Lee said smaller and more rural hospitals stepped up to serve patients during the pandemic, while losing money from the cancellation of elective procedures.
