There will be a planned power outage Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 6 until 11 a.m. central for the Crossville substation. Approximately 12,230 VEC customers will be affected including those who live in Crab Orchard and south of I-40 all the way to the Bellview area. The outage will reach members as far west as the Thomas Springs area and east as far as Daysville. Calls will go out to affected customers with up-to-date contact information. For a specific address, check the Smart Hub app or call your local service center. VEC officials asks customers to not use social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) to report power outages as they are not monitored 24/7 and are not connected to their outage management system.
