A two vehicle accident on I-40 in Roane County last night left one injured. Troopers say a 2001 Nissan Maxima driven by 37-year-old Jonathan L. Woods of Knoxville attempted to pass a 2017 Peterbilt tractor-trailer operated by 62-year-old Scott L. Bristol of Crossville at the 350 mile marker. The Maxima contacted the back side of the tractor-trailer, lost control and came to rest on its top after rolling over. Woods was hurt and cited for driving on a revoked license. Bristol, who was restrained, was not injured.
