Authorities in Cumberland County stopped a motorist just off I-40 at the Peavine Road exit this week after the tag came back to a different vehicle. A check of the driver, 34-year-old Steven Clay Scott of Oakdale, not only came back with not having a valid license but he was wanted in Roane County. A search reportedly revealed two small bags containing meth. Scott was arrested and taken to jail.
