A routine traffic stop on Peavine Road July 4^th resulted in the arrest of a man wanted in Roane County. Officer ran a check of one individual in the vehicle, 42-year-old Carl Richard Matthews, resulting in three outstanding warrants. Matthews was taken to the Cumberland County jail where a small bag of meth was reportedly found on him during booking. He was charged with felony manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and introducing contraband into a penal institution.
