Road crews continue the widening of much of Peavine Road in Cumberland County. The posted speed limit has been reduced to 35 m.p.h. within the work zone. Base stone, paving, blasting operations, storm drain installation, and utility relocation are in progress. Peavine Road is closed from Fairview Blvd to just past the Catoosa / Westchester intersection with detours posted. Motorists should be alert for construction personnel/equipment entering and exiting the roadway. The estimated project completion date is November 2020.
