A traffic stop in Cumberland County yesterday resulted in a Nashville man going to jail. A deputy pulled over a Ford Fusion with a Texas registration on the 1100 block of Sparta Highway for reportedly crossing over the center line several times. A check of the driver, 34-year-old Demario Leshun Sumlar, revealed five active warrants out of Cumberland County and the vehicle was reported stolen by the Ripley Police Department earlier this month. Sumlar was arrested for theft.
