CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES CONTRACTS WITH TDOT; RESUMES SEARCH FOR PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

A new search for a public works director for Crossville will get underway again. This was the decision by the city council last night. The first attempt was called off because of COVID-19 concerns and some water utilities did not want to proceed with the hiring. The council also approved contracts with TDOT to relocate utilities involving the Northwest Connector at a cost of $2.92 million and instructed the city manager to look into a total price for around 3,000 water meters to replace old or non-functional units.
