REQUEST FOR BOND REDUCTION DENIED FOR MURDER SUSPECT IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A request to reduce bond for a second-degree murder suspect in Cumberland County was denied in court today. Judge Gary McKenzie kept it at $200,000 for 59-year-old Diana Lynn Grosso which was set when she was brought to the jail from New York state last month. She allegedly provided a substance containing fentanyl to 58-year-old Julia Meade of Crossville in July 2018. Meade later passed away reportedly from toxic levels of the drug. Grosso is scheduled to return to criminal court November 10, 2020.
