Cumberland County authorities and medics responded to a vehicle accident on Clint Lowe Road near Dunbar Road Monday night. The report released today states a 1996 Nissan Sentra operated by Christopher W. Davis of Crossville was traveling south when a 2004 GMC driven by 25-year-old Joseph S. Wooten of Crossville came around a curve in the wrong lane and collided with the side of the Nissan. Wooten reportedly kept going and crashed his vehicle a mile from the scene. A passenger in the Nissan, 68-year-old Barbara Randolph of Crossville, sustained minor injuries. Wooten was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to exercise due care.
