VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN RHEA COUNTY RESULTS IN INJURIES
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded to a vehicle accident last night in Rhea County. Troopers say a 2007 Chevy driven by 21-year-old Scarlett Matthews of Decatur, Tennessee was traveling west on Highway 30, crossed the center line near Cranmore Cove Road and collided with an oncoming 2002 Nissan Frontier operated by 59-year-old Donald Blaylock of Dayton. Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. The report indicates charges are pending against Matthews.
