Cumberland County deputies responded to the emergency room of Cumberland Medical Center late Friday for a patient with an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound. Upon arrival they made contact with the male in his 30’s. He told law enforcement while he was at a home on Brown Road and was unloading and cleaning a Glock handgun when a bullet discharged striking his ankle. He was treated for his injury.
