WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR PLATEAU

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY that will go into effect at 3 p.m. central today (Wednesday, January 27, 2021) and is set to expire at 3 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, January 28, 2021). The advisory includes the following counties as of 6:30 a.m. this morning:

CUMBERLAND, FENTRESS, OVERTON, PICKETT, PUTNAM AND WHITE

The advisory is extended to end at 7 a.m. eastern tomorrow for MORGAN COUNTY

The advisory for CLINTON and WAYNE COUNTY, KENTUCKY runs from 2 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. central today.

Temperatures will fall into the afternoon and especially tonight as moisture approaches the area. The map below shows the predicted snowfall amount. Drivers should use caution when traveling during the advisory.
