UPDATE – (6:20 a.m. central) – Power has been restored. 

PREVIOUS STORY – Over 1,500 VEC customers are without power (as of 5:30 a.m. central Monday, February 22, 2021) in Cumberland County and in the city of Crossville (west side of city mainly). Initial reports indicate a tree was blown down and connected with a power line. VEC crews are in route to repair and a restoration time is by 7:30 a.m. central time. Traffic lights at several intersections on West Avenue are out. Treat them as a 4 way stop.
