Cumberland County deputies responded to an area on Garrison Road off Highway 68 to a motorist in a Volkswagen who hit a pickup truck. The report states the driver, 47-year-old Jennifer Lynn Grant of Daytona Beach, Florida, stated she was on her way to McMinnville from Florida and the last city she remembered being in was in Georgia. Grant was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and assault after she allegedly kicked a deputy.
