A call to a disturbance at a home on Highway 127 North in Cumberland County recently led to the arrest of a suspect for out of state warrants. Officers encountered 25-year-old Joel Ryan Smith and a check revealed several outstanding felony charges for him in Mead County, Kentucky including but not limited to narcotic offenses and evading arrest. Smith was taken to jail.
