A Cumberland Countian found himself behind bars this week after allegedly taking several belongings from a home on Browns Creek Drive. Officers took Timothy Joseph Easterly of Crossville into custody for theft of property. The report states Easterly stated among the things he took was a lawnmower he hid in a field close to the scene and a 2003 Toyota Tacoma in a wooded area off of Chestnut Hill Road. Much of the items including those two were recovered.
