CITY MANAGER PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REVIEWED BY COUNCIL

The Crossville City Council met in a work session yesterday and reviewed the performance evaluation for City Manager Greg Wood. He received a 4.45 out of a top rating of 5 for the entire report.
It was broke down into 10 specific areas:
Individual characteristics – 4.4
Professional skills and status – 4.28
Relations with elected members of the governing body – 4.68
Policy execution – 4.4
Reporting to governing body – 4.56
Citizen relations – 4.24
Staffing – 4.52
Supervision – 4.32
Fiscal management – 4.76
Community – 4.36
In strengths area for Wood, Council member Rob Harrison said Greg is a steady leader and his knowledge of good governance is well respected and seen. Under Woods tenure, the City of Crossville has prospered. Mayor James Mayberry said Wood has done an excellent job during these trying times with the pandemic.
Mayberry added Wood needs to be more compassionate for citizen concerns and problems to achieve more satisfactory results.
