A former long time director of the Cumberland County High School band passed away this morning. Steve Tinnell owned Rush’s Music Store in Crossville as well as leading the Jet band for numerous years. Tinnell also started the Upper Cumberland Marching Band Festival. Tinnell started teaching band at Cumberland County High School in 1982.
