BLAYLOCK NOT SEEKING RE-ELECTION AS CUMBERLAND CO ROAD SUPERINTENDENT

105.7 NEWS has learned Cumberland County Road Superintendent Scott Blaylock will not be seeking reelection for a fourth term. Blaylock had originally pulled his filing papers but did not turn them back into the election commission. Blaylock is expected to make the official announcement tonight. The deadline for filing papers to run for Road Superintendent, as well as other County Offices, is this Thursday at noon. With Blaylock out of the running presently that leaves three other candidates who have filed papers for County Road Superintendent
