The body of Claudene Whaley was recovered Saturday.  A silver alert was issued on behalf of the Gatlinburg Police Department for 76-year-old Claudene Whaley on Monday, August 8th.  Her white Toyota Highlander was located that next Wednesday evening along Gulf Road in the Hartford area of Cocke County.

Officials have not yet released any more information other than they have found her deceased.
