BREAKING NEWS – The Spring City Police Department is alerting the public to an incident that occured today near Lavender Street. Authorities say an older male in his 60’s to 70’s with gray hair and a long gray beard in a blue truck with a white stripe toward the bottom pulled up and asked a young girl if she wanted a ride. She refused and took off running. The subject then followed her. The child made it to a friends house and told an adult who notified police. The Spring City Police Department is asking citizens if they see a vehicle or a man matching the description to call the police at 423-365-5105 or 911. Spring City police is increasing patrol in that area.
