MALE CAUGHT HIDING IN SHED BEING SOLD IN CROSSVILLE
Last Thursday, a Crossville city officer was dispatched to North Main Street for a suspicious male sneaking into one of the sheds being sold in the parking lot. When searching the buildings, one officer observed a male quickly exiting the parking lot and begin to walk down the road.
The officer observed the male subject to be unsteady on his feet and had an extremely dry and cracked mouth. He was identified as 35-year-old Christopher Wayne Best, of Harriman. The officer determined Mr. Best to be a danger to himself and placed him in custody. He was arrested without incident and charged with Public Intoxication.
