Crossville police and medical first responders were called to Save A Lot around 3 p.m. today after a person was hit by a vehicle. According to initial reports, an elderly female was struck by a female driver in a vehicle as she was backing up. The victim was transported to Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. The names of those involved were not available from the Crossville Police Department.
