Cumberland County is seeking to hire a finance director.

This position became available after the retirement of Nathan Brock.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform financial and administrative work overseeing and assisting with all accounting and financial operations for Cumberland County government and the Cumberland County Board of Education.

Applicant should have extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of financial administration and acceptable accounting practices and reporting requirements utilized by county governments in the State of Tennessee, including but not limited to the 1981 Tennessee Statute governing county operations.
