VETERANS PARADE SET FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, IN CROSSVILLE

A large veteran’s parade will happen in Crossville this Saturday (November 4, 2023).

It will start at 10 a.m. at Cumberland County High School and head east on Stanley Street to Main Street. The parade will turn north on Main Street and end near the corner of Main Street and Burnett Street (near city hall).

The parade co-grand marshals will be Colonel and Mrs. Norris Webster.

The deputy grand marshal will be Tim French.

Several military or veterans units will participate in the parade, including the American Legion, Cumberland County Women Veterans, VFW Post 5024, the Marine Corps League, and more.

The Stone Memorial High School band will perform in the parade.

Youth groups participating in the veteran’s parade include Cub Scout Pack 374, American Heritage Girls Troop, Cumberland County Young Marines, Girl Scout Service Unit 127, and York Institute JROTC.

The public is encouraged to come out and support the veterans.

The weather Saturday morning calls for sunny skies with the temperature around 45 to 50 at parade time.
