A three-vehicle accident in Cumberland County late Saturday morning resulted in injuries.

The report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol released today states a 2022 Toyota Tacoma driven by 87-year-old Andrew Christie Thomas was stopped on Mayland Road at the intersection with Highway 70 North.

Troopers say Thomas pulled out into the path of an oncoming 2020 Chevrolet Trax operated by 29-year-old Stephanie Rachelle Wyatt. The impact sent the Chevrolet into a vehicle operated by 57-year-old William Allen Weldner.

Wyatt was hurt in the accident. A three-year-old passenger was not hurt.

Troopers say Thomas and Weldner were not injured.
