Cumberland County deputies and medics responded Christmas day to a single-vehicle accident.

The report released yesterday states an automobile driven by 19-year-old Chloe M. Hayes was traveling south on the 11,000 block of Peavine Road when she lost control in a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

Hayes was not hurt in the impact.

Deputies say a 17-year-old passenger was possibly injured in the accident.
