(Developing Story) – The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfield Glade police, firefighters, and medics responded to Weigel’s on Peavine Road late this morning after a vehicle struck the front of the store.

Initial reports from the scene indicate the driver in a Ford Escape crashed into the front of the business just to the side of the main entrance doors.

Debris, shattered glass, and merchandise were scattered inside the front area of the store from the impact.

Police say two individuals were hurt in the crash.

Authorities did not release any further information this morning regarding the accident.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will release a full report later, including the names of those involved.
