MAN WANTED OUT OF STATE ARRESTED IN CROSSVILLE

A man wanted by out-of-state authorities was arrested on New Year’s Day after driving his vehicle on 10th Street and going into the path of an oncoming Crossville police cruiser.
The officer pulled over 37-year-old Justin Damian Garland of Crossville.
A check revealed warrants for Garland in Monroe County, Georgia for aggravated assault of a peace officer and evading arrest.
Garland was taken to the Cumberland County jail to await extradition to Georgia to face the charges.
