The Crossville Police Department will participate in the “Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over” campaign over the upcoming Labor Day Weekend to encourage responsible driving.

Police Captain Brian Eckelson said the city will post additional patrols over the week to weed out drunk drivers. He said he wants the community to know that keeping people safe is the Police Department’s number one priority.

He also said that sobriety checkpoints will be set up if weather permits.

Crossville PD will participate in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” up into Monday, September 2.
