Putnam County, TN – At approximately 7:45 A.M. today, Putnam County Fire Department responded to an
address on Cumby Road for a reported RV on fire.

Upon arrival crews found a bumper pull camper trailer well involved. First in unit made an aggressive attack
with a deck gun to knock down the bulk of the fire until more personnel could arrive.

Crews were able to gain quick control of the fire and cleared the scene in just under 2 hours.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at the time of this release. No injuries were reported.
