Main Street seems to have opened back up for public use.

Some of Downtown Crossville’s Main Street is still closed today due to debris from French’s Shoes. Winds from Saturday night/ Sunday morning’s storm caused the roof to shift, resulting in the street being closed until French’s has been deemed safe.

Currently, crews from TDOT, Crossville Police, Crossville Fire and Rescue, and Crossville Street Department are on the scene, but North Main Street is closed from Neecham to Fifth alongside North and Rector.

Motorists are advised to seek a detour when traveling through town.
