A large fire at the Caney Creek RV Resort in Roane County off of Hwy 70 near Midtown has already destroyed four RVs and caused several explosions due to the propane tanks. Fire fighters have been battling the blaze for a couple of hours and believe they may have it under control. Hwy 70 in that area is open but congested due to police and fire and motorists slowing down to try and see the fire. More information as it’s obtained.
