Roane County, TN — The Roane County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance following a fatal hit-and-run incident.

Authorities say the incident occurred in the 4200 block of Harriman Highway, where a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information about the vehicle or driver involved to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling the Roane County Sheriff’s Office at 865-717-4700.
