In the hours between Friday night of May 16th and early Saturday morning of May 17th, multiple vehicles were broken into inside the city of Sweetwater and the area of Hawkins Road and Sweetwater Vonore Road in Sweetwater.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Sweetwater Police Department are asking for assistance in identifying a subject captured in the one of the security camera videos that was obtained.

The suspect(s) smashed vehicle windows and rummaged through several vehicles taking valuables and tools. In one incident a child’s flute was taken that was used for band and needed for upcoming band events.

Help us locate the suspect(s) responsible for these criminal acts.

If anyone in the area of Overhill Drive or the 400 to 500 of Hawkins Road in Sweetwater has any security camera footage pertaining to these incidents or may have captured images/videos of suspect(s) please preserve and contact us.

Approximated time frame Friday, May 16th from 11:45 PM to Saturday, May 17th at approximately 6:00 AM.
