A Dunlap man is charged with rape in addition to several other charges. Zachary Higgins was arrested during a law enforcement “round-up” operation that mostly dealt with drug arrests. In addition to aggravated rape, Higgins also faces several drug-related charges. When he was taken into custody Wednesday, officers found methamphetamine and two handguns during a personal search. One of the guns was stolen.
