On Sunday, Officer Shade Foster observed two Ford Mustangs, one silver driven by Michael Fields and one gray driven by Preston Manley, engaging in a dangerous motor vehicle competition on N Main St and Genesis Rd. Both drivers were seen struggling to maintain traction, endangering the public with their reckless behavior.

Officer Foster initiated a traffic stop in a Burger King parking lot, identified both drivers through prior interactions, and arrested them after noting multiple previous verbal warnings for reckless driving.

Both were charged with drag racing, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment, and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center for booking.
