ALMOST $6,000 WORTH OF GOODS STOLEN FROM JIM GARRET ROAD

On July 7, 2025, Deputy Morgan Alvarez of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a theft report on Jim Garrett Road in Crossville filed by a 59-year-old resident. The victim reported that several items were stolen from his residence, including a pair of diamond earrings valued at $2,278, a Smith & Wesson .380 Shield pistol worth $400, a custom-made AR-15 valued at $1,500, 22 silver bars worth $1,200, one pound of silver coins valued at $800, and a weed eater and pressure washer collectively worth $450.
The theft occurred between 9:54 and 9:56 AM on July 7, 2025, while the owner was on vacation, making the exact timing uncertain. The owner suspects a 31-year-old man who had access to the house while performing work for him.
The incident was classified as “All Other Larceny”, with no evidence of forced entry, bias, or gang activity.
