MAN ARRESTED IN OHIO FOR STEALING TRUCK IN MONTEREY
On July 27, 2025, Deputy Breanna Freeman responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at Dripping Springs Road in Monterey. The victim, a 61-year-old man, reported that his blue Dodge Ram 1500, valued at $6,000, and approximately $300 in cash were missing.
He suspected his 24-year-old son, Corbin Cornelius, who was no longer at the residence, had taken the items without permission. Timothy noted that he and Corbin had been working together earlier that day, but he discovered the theft after waking up around 2:00 AM. He believed Corbin might be heading to Ohio, where his mother and wife live.
Later that day, an Ohio agency recovered the vehicle and arrested Corbin for possession. The vehicle was impounded, and Timothy was notified. The incident was classified as a motor vehicle theft with a charge of theft of property valued between $2,500 and $10,000.
