On August 8, 2025, at just after 7:30 AM CDT, a crash occurred on Lantana Road in Cumberland County, TN, involving two vehicles. Vehicle 1, a 1992 Dodge D20 driven by 76-year-old Charles Himelrick from Tennessee, slowed to turn left onto Hutoha Drive. Vehicle 2, a 2007 Dodge Caravan driven by 42-year-old Linda Underwood, also from Tennessee, failed to stop and rear-ended Vehicle 1.

Himelrick was uninjured and faces no charges, while Underwood was injured and has pending charges. A passenger in Vehicle 1 from Mississippi was uninjured with no charges.
