BBBTV12 – Rockwood, TN – Downtown Rockwood was bustling Monday evening as hundreds gathered for the city’s second Monday Night Street Festival of the season. The event featured live music from Liquid Velvet, along with craft booths, local vendors, food trucks, and shopping opportunities at several of downtown’s newest restaurants.

The festival ran from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., drawing what City Administrator Becky Ruppe described as the largest crowd of the year. She noted that rain forced the cancellation of some earlier festivals, making Monday night’s turnout especially encouraging.

Ruppe also shared excitement about upcoming community events, including the next Monday Night Street Festivals in September and October. She reminded residents that the city’s Rockin’ the Ramp Festival will be held Sunday, August 31, at Tom Fuller Park on the lakefront. The annual celebration will feature food, entertainment for all ages, and a fireworks finale.
