On Saturday, August 23, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Dayton, Tennessee, where a woman was fatally struck by a freight train. The Dayton Police Department responded to the scene in the 1300 block of Railroad Street after receiving reports of a pedestrian being hit.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the deceased woman next to the railroad tracks. Recently, the deceased’s identity was announced as being 35-year-old Aleah Marsh of Madisonville.
